1 turkey (18 lbs. or under
1 Jar of Bell's Turkey Brine
6 cups of water
Add entire jar of Bell's Turkey Brine to 6 cups of water.
Mix thoroughly until fully dissolved.
Place thawed turkey into a large container or bag and add mixture.
Add additional water to cover turkey as needed.
Keep refrigerated or on ice and soak for 12-24 hours.
1 box Bell's Stuffing (prepared as directed)
2 Tbsp Bell's Seasoning
6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
Chopped celery, onion, carrots (optional)
Before roasting, rinse brined turkey well with cold water and pat dry.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Place turkey on rack in large roasting pan.
For best results, place Bell's Stuffing inside turkey cavity.
rub butter over turkey and sprinkle with Bell's Seasoning.
Place vegetables around turkey in roasting pan.
Place turkey in oven and cook for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown as desired.
Tent turkey with foil and reduce temperature to 350 degrees F.
Continue roasting per instructions on turkey label or until
thermometer inserted inserted into thickest part of the breast
registers 165 degrees F.
Carefully place turkey on platter, leaving foil in place and
let stand at room temperature 30 minutes before carving.
