Grew up in northern New England. I never knew that there was another brand until I got older. I've lived all over the US and tried national and regional brands but Cain's is still the best. When we go home once a year we always buy some special stuff you can't find anywhere and several jars of Cains is one of them. There is a huge difference in the taste of mayonnaise.

I NEED to give my favorite Mayo a shout out! My Grandmother used this in her potato salad. She used it to make my sandwiches. I couldn't figure what made them so good! Once I learned it was Cains, I would ask my parents to buy it for me.
Living in CT, very few places sell it, I have to go to VT, where I can buy 10 jars at a time to last until my next visit to VT.

After living in Florida for 12 long hot years I was fortunate enough to move back to New England. The very first thing I did was buy a jar of Cains Mayonnaise. I missed it so much. It's a crying shame that it's not available in the south. Love it soo much.
