Lucky for us, Drake’s invented their iconic snack in 1923! Produced ever since, Drake’s Devil Dogs Cakes are a sweet treat! The sweet cream is layered between two fresh loaves of devil’s food cake. In the summer a number of New Englander’s like to freeze these Drake’s cakes snack and eat them to cool off during the summer months. Others like to break apart the cake and eat the side without the cream before they go on to gobbling down the other half covered in sweet delicious cream!
