Mail Orders

     At FamousFoods.com, we pride ourselves on shipping your order in safe and timely manner. When you place your order you will receive an email as a confirmation that your order has been received. On the day that your order leaves our facility we will send you a second email with a carrier tracking number that will allow you to track your order to your doorstep. Below you will find a description of our shipping methods and information on how to estimate when your package will arrive. Keep in mind however that these are just guidelines. To accurately determine when you package will arrive it is best to use the tracking number that we email you when your order leaves our facility.

A tip for easy shipping:

A number of our products are either perishable, frozen or shipped fresh once a week and have special shipping requirements, please carefully read all shipping instructions on each product's information page. We offer the following 4 shipping methods.*

Standard: - If you select this method your order will ship via UPS Ground unless is weighs less than 2 lbs in which case it may ship via Priority Mail. Use the map below as a guide to estimate the time in transit from the day your package leaves our facility. Orders that ship using the Standard shipping option typically leave our facility within one business day. (See Exception 2 below.) Note that the "Transit Days" on the map below are business days. UPS Does not deliver on weekends and some holidays. Do not count these days when estimating your package's arrival.

 

3-Day Shipping: Orders using the 3-Day shipping method will ship via UPS 3-Day Select service. If we receive an order using this service before 2:00 PM EST (M-F) It will leave our facility the same day. If the order is received after 2:00pm EST it will ship the following business day. The package will be received 3 days after it ships. Keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on weekends and you should not count weekend days when calculating time in transit.
 

2-Day Shipping: Orders using the 2-Day shipping method will ship via UPS 2-Day Air service. If we receive an order using this service before 2:00 PM EST (M-F) It will leave our facility the same day. If the order is received after 2:00pm EST it will ship the following business day. The package will be received 2 days after it ships. Keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on weekends and you should not count weekend days when calculating time in transit.

 

Next Day Shipping: Orders using the Next Day shipping method will ship via UPS Next Day service. If we receive an order using this service before 2:00 PM EST (M-F) It will leave our facility the same day. If the order is received after 2:00pm EST it will ship the following business day. The package will be received the day after it ships. Keep in mind that UPS does not deliver on weekends and you should not count weekend days when calculating time in transit.

*These methods apply to shipments inside the continental United States.

 

Shipping Exceptions:

Exception 1: If you order a perishable item that requires expedited shipping in an insulated box with cold packs, we will not ship your order if it will not arrive to you before the weekend. In this case your order will ship the following Monday. (Examples: Gaspar's Meats, Cacoila, Cookie Dough, etc...)

Exception 2: If you order a product that is delivered to us fresh from a manufacturer once a week we will ship your order on the day that we receive the fresh shipment. (examples: Drakes, Hostess, Wonder bread, Sweet breads and Peggy Lawton products) .

Exception 3: Heavy items - Some items on our site are identified as "Heavy Items" and may require additional shipping charges based on your selected shipping method. We try to identify all restrictions on each items information page. Orders outside the continental US:

We will ship to  Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US  Virgin Islands and US APO addresses via Post Office Priority. We do not ship internationally at this time.
